About
THING 1 & 2 are a pair of playful wall-mounted hooks designed to mirror one another’s eccentricities. Their solid white oak bases are shaped with exaggerated, bulbous proportions—one seemingly top-heavy, the other bottom-heavy—creating an intentionally off-kilter pair.

Each piece carries six brass arms tipped with turned white oak balls. The bases are hand-painted with the OXALINO™ spiral, following and exaggerating the shifting geometry of the forms and giving each its own distinct character.

Conceived as a kind of yin-and-yang pair, THING 1 & 2 can flank a mirror or doorway, hang together as a composition, or simply provide a rather unconventional place for coats, hats and bags.
