About
A low, sculptural coffee table defined by substantial solid-wood construction, softened geometry, and two monumental leg assemblies.
The FAT COWBOY balances visual weight with carefully resolved proportions. Its elongated oval top is generously rounded along every edge, while the broad split-arch legs create a grounded, unmistakable silhouette.
Two oversized integral joints connect the legs to the top, making the table’s construction central to its form. The result is simple and direct at first glance, but full of subtle curves, tactile surfaces, and expressive solid-wood detailing when seen up close.
The design began as an exploration of how a single form could move between different uses and scales. In addition to the 42-inch coffee table, the FAT COWBOY can be adapted as a bench, side table, or dining table through custom dimensions.
A pastiche of Americana, the FAT COWBOY is bold without losing its refinement. It is unabashedly pro-hand—a by-product of dreamers, traditional furniture-making, and a belief that serious craftsmanship can still have a sense of humour.
Available in solid walnut, sapele, red oak, or white oak, with Hamilton Holmes finishes including Clear, Natural, Brindle, and Oxidised. A hand-painted Toon edition brings an additional graphic expression to the form.
